Application Directions & Best Practices:

IMPORTANT: Always rinse the WHEELIE FERRET thoroughly after each use to maintain its optimal cleaning efficiency, prevent dirt transfer, and ensure its longevity. Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or fabric softeners during washing, as these can compromise microfiber integrity. Always test any new cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first.

• Preparation:
  • For wheel cleaning, begin by thoroughly rinsing the wheels to remove loose dirt and debris. Apply your preferred wheel cleaner or a suitable all-purpose cleaner directly onto the wheel surface, ensuring good coverage, and allow it to dwell for the recommended time as per the product instructions.
  • For cleaning other tricky areas (e.g., hinges, fuel caps, engine bay components), apply your chosen APC (All-Purpose Cleaner) or dedicated detail cleaner directly to the target area, or generously spray it onto the microfibre band of the WHEELIE FERRET.
• Application:
  • For Wheels (Spokes, Barrels, Calipers): Hold the WHEELIE FERRET securely by the heavy-duty straps. Thread the flexible microfibre band through wheel spokes, around brake calipers, and deep into the wheel barrel (where accessible). Use a gentle back-and-forth or circular motion to effectively agitate and clean the surfaces. The flexible band allows you to wrap it around spokes and truly reach deep into intricate wheel designs.
  • For Hinges, Struts, & Tight Crevices: Carefully wrap the microfiber band around your hand or a finger, holding securely by the straps. Work it into door hinges, bonnet hinges, suspension components, tight engine bay areas, intricate exhaust tips, or around complex grilles, gently agitating to lift dirt and grime.
  • For Fuel Caps, Small Spoilers, & Badges: Use the flexible band to meticulously clean around fuel filler neck surrounds, under small spoilers, or inside badge recesses, ensuring thorough and gentle coverage.
• Rinsing / Wiping:
  • For Wheels: After cleaning, thoroughly rinse the wheel and the WHEELIE FERRET itself with a strong, clean stream of water to flush away loosened dirt, brake dust, and cleaner residue.
  • For Other Areas: After agitation, promptly wipe away lifted dirt and cleaner residue with a separate, clean, and damp microfiber towel.
• Care & Maintenance:
  • After each use, rinse the WHEELIE FERRET thoroughly under running water to remove all dirt particles and chemical residue from the microfiber.
  • Machine wash with a dedicated microfibre detergent (or a mild, pH-neutral liquid laundry detergent) in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle.
  • Always wash separately from other laundry, especially cotton items, to avoid lint contamination.
  • DO NOT use fabric softeners or bleach, as these can permanently damage microfibre fibres, reducing absorbency and effectiveness.
  • Tumble dry on low heat or, ideally, air dry (hang to dry). DO NOT iron.
  • Store in a clean, dry, and dust-free environment.
