Dirty water, road grime, and oils quickly bake onto wheel lacquers, becoming difficult to remove. Surface Preparation:

For effective adhesion and therefore longevity, preparing the surface for the product is essential and using the graphene ceramic coating alone without proper preparation may lead to a short-lived final finish.

The product cross-links to the surfaces that it’s applied to. Surface cleaning & degreasing is an essential part of the process to ensure that there is no contamination between the product and the surface to be protected.

It is also important the surface has been prepared to the highest standard prior to applying the coating as once applied, it will seal in the surface underneath so if marring, scratches etc are present it is highly recommended the wheels are polished prior
to applying the coating to bring the surface to the desired finish first.

Application Method:

Our wheel coating can be used on painted, powder coated, bare metal
aluminium and stainless surfaces, including matte, satin & gloss finishes.

• Application must take place above 5C in a well ventilated area, whilst
  wearing protective gloves. Do not dilute.
  
• Surface condition is important, Ensure it is free of any waxes, oils &
  dressings, ideally wiped down with our CLEAN SLATE Panel Prep cleaner or IPA mix.
  
• Apply two or three drops onto the lint free applicator provided, apply the
  coating to the whole wheel evenly, one wheel at a time, larger wheels may need
  to be coated in sections.
• Bonding begins immediately, remove excess with a light wipe of a microfibre cloth within a 1-2 minutes, do not leave the coating for
  longer than 4-5 minutes before wiping.
• One applicator pad per wheel is recommended.
  
• For maximum durability we recommend two coats, when applying two coats
  please leave 1 hours before applying the second coat.
  

Maintenance

• This coating requires no special maintenance, typically on a two coat
  application the coating will last for around two years.
• Coating durability is improved when the wheels are cleaned only with car shampoo or PH neutral snow foams/citrus degreaser's. Avoid acid wheel cleaners at
  all costs.
  
• Remove sealant that comes into contact with car paint work, glass, trim and
  tires immediately.
  
• Caution: Avoid contact with eyes & skin. Do not ingest. Refit cap tightly after use
