Directions for use:

IMPORTANT: Always test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure colourfastness and compatibility with the surface material. This is especially important for delicate or unique fabrics. Always vacuum the surface thoroughly before starting to ensure all loose dirt and debris are removed.

• Vacuum Thoroughly: Before applying the product, use a powerful vacuum cleaner to remove all loose dirt, dust, sand, and debris from the carpet or upholstery. This crucial step prevents these particles from being rubbed further into the fibres.
• Dilution (Mix with Water):
  • Heavy Stains / Spot Cleaning: For the most challenging stains, use a 1:10 dilution ratio (e.g., 100ml of product to 1 litre of water).
  • General Cleaning: For overall cleaning of light-to-moderately soiled surfaces, use a 1:20 dilution ratio (e.g., 50ml of product to 1 litre of water).
  • Upholstery Extraction Machine: Follow the specific dilution recommendations provided by your upholstery extraction machine's manufacturer, which can vary by machine model – dilute up to 1:80 
• Application:
  • Manual Application: Using a spray bottle, mist the diluted product evenly over the surface to be cleaned. Avoid over-saturating the fabric. Allow the product to dwell for 1-2 minutes to penetrate the fibres and begin breaking down the dirt and stains.
  • Machine Application: Add the correctly diluted product to the extraction machine's tank and follow the machine's operating instructions 
• Agitation: Using a soft-to-medium bristled interior detailing brush or a clean microfiber cloth, gently agitate the treated area in a circular or cross-hatch motion. This action helps to work the cleaner deep into the fibres and effectively lift the embedded dirt.
• Rinsing & Extraction:
  • Manual Application: Wipe the area thoroughly with a clean, damp microfiber towel to lift and remove the loosened dirt, stains, and product residue. Rinse the towel frequently to avoid re-depositing contaminants.
  • Machine Application: Use the upholstery extraction machine to rinse and extract the cleaned area, removing all dirt, moisture, and product residue in one pass.
• Final Drying: Allow the carpet or upholstery to dry completely before sitting on it. Proper ventilation (e.g., open windows, fans) will significantly speed up the drying process and prevent mold or mildew formation.
